Relations between Human Resources and the Purchasing Department

Because, on the one hand, training and recruitment costs are growing significantly and on the other hand, the suppliers market is in a state of perpetual change, HR Directors have come to accept the necessity of close collaboration with Purchasing Directors.

Thus implementing new tools and processes for Purchasing ensures both good human resources management as well as good cost management. Also, a thorough understanding of the new ways  Purchasing is organising as well as the skills needed for this constantly evolving profession is a key point in recruiting for Purchasing.
The Human Resources and Purchasing Departments now need to learn to work together if they are to efficiently achieve the financial and human resources objectives that they have been set.
